Overview
Role: Theatre Staff Nurse / Anaesthetic Nurse
Location: Cork, Ireland
Commitment: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: Highly competitive (Commensurate with experience, including shift premiums)
🛠️ Requirements & Qualifications
Registration: Must be actively registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) with a valid PIN.
Work Authorization: Must hold valid work permits/authorizations to work full-time in Ireland.
Experience:
Minimum of 2+ years of dedicated Theatre experience (Scrub, Anaesthetics, or Circulating).
We highly welcome experience gained in an Irish acute hospital setting or strong acute theatre experience from your home country.
Clinical Skills: Exceptional patient care standards, strong multitasking abilities, and the capacity to work efficiently under pressure.
Core Competencies:
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).IT Literacy: Fully computer literate for digital patient records and hospital systems.
Teamwork: Proven ability to work on your own initiative as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary operating theatre team.
Please note: Our client is specifically seeking acute hospital theatre experience. Candidates with exclusively nursing home experience will not be considered for this role.
