HR Manager is responsible for the delivery and implementation of a range of generalist HR services within a hospital setting and for the provision of advice and guidance on HR and ER issues in order to support the Hospital the achievement of its business objectives.
Providing guidance on the Group HR strategy and policy direction and governance on people related matters to influence, monitor and support the changing structure and workforce with a focus on change management,
leadership and development support.
Provide HR support and guidance in the delivery of the people and organisational strategy in line with policy.

Responsibilities:

Provide HR support, advice and assistance to Managers and staff.
Involved in staff retention.

Requirements and skills:

Relevant third level, HR qualification.
3 years+ experience in a human resources role, ideally within a hospital or healthcare setting.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal and people management skills.
Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
Ability to analyse, interpret and explain legislation regulating employment.
Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
Knowledge of HIQA Standards.
Own transport desirable, ability to travel between all sites.
Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Office systems.
