Our client an established hospital in Dublin is currently recruiting a Director of Nursing.
This is a leadership role that is vital in supporting the Nursing management of the Hospital. The successful person will play a central role in the continuing development of the Hospital and in assisting the hospital in meeting challenges and opportunities with the planned future expansions services to adults and children in its clinical programmes.

Essential Qualifications
* Registered General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)

Essential Experience
* 10 years post registration experience of nursing, with at least five years’ nursing management experience at a minimum of Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2) level, of which 3 years’ must be in acute or similar setting.
* Have successfully completed a post registration programme of study and achieved a major academic award Level 9 or higher in a health care or management related area.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication & organisational skills
* Leadership and management skills
* Good IT skills
* Good negotiation skills
* Good time management skills
* Problem solving skills
* Approachable manner
