An expanding Joinery & Fitout company based in Laois is hiring a Project Manager
Role:
This role will suit someone who has previously managed projects or who has been involved in joinery and fit out seeking a challenge.
Due to an increasing demand for products and workmanship in the commercial, bespoke joinery sector.
This is a role where you will be undertaking the organisation of various commercial projects, using your knowledge and experience to produce a high quality end product, delivered to our customers with quality and attention to detail as your key goals
Responsibilities:
Take responsibility and ownership of a joinery fitout project from start to finish, including monitoring timelines and regularly following up on all aspects of the project · Brief internal project team and senior management, co-ordinate and coach your support project team members with tasks assigned to them
Program project into workflow capacities
Build relationships with clients/contractors and architects
Procure materials, securing best price and quality
Monitor Project deliverables
Agree best pricing and work closely with suppliers and subcontractors
Most importantly, delivering a project on time, within budget and to the highest quality, including regular quality checks
Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience in Joinery or fit out subcontracting essential
Experience in FITOUT projects, offices/bars/housing etc. is a distinct advantage
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification Strong business acumen in project planning and management
Strong verbal, written, time and organizational skills Solutions driven, problem solver with a “can do” attitude, assertive Adaptable in the face of changing priorities and events Customer focused with exacting attention to detail Willingness to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion Proficiency in AutoCAD software an advantage but not a deal breaker What’s on offer?
