The Role
As Head of Psychology, you will:
* Lead a multidisciplinary team of dedicated psychologists and clinicians.
* Shape and implement a progressive mental health and psychological strategy across the organisation.
* Provide clinical oversight and ensure the highest standards of ethical, evidence-based practice.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to embed psychological insight across departments.
* Champion a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and professional development.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory bodies and uphold gold-standard safeguarding practices.

About You
* The Head of Psychology will lead and be responsible for the effective delivery of a quality psychology services to children and adults with complex disability via our Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNTs) and our enhanced complex care pathways.
* Proven leadership in a clinical, healthcare, education, or service-oriented setting.
* A strong record of delivering psychological services with impact and innovation.
* A passion for developing people, driving performance, and influencing culture.
* Outstanding interpersonal, strategic, and organisational skills.
* A natural ability to collaborate across disciplines and bring teams together under a shared vision.

Key Requirements
* Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or related field
* Extensive experience in working with individuals with disability
* Extensive experience in working with individuals with autism and neurodiversity
* Proven track record of strategic leadership and service transformation
* Strong clinical expertise and knowledge of evidence-based practices
* Experience in research and innovation within the field of psychology.
