Financial Accountant Manufacturing

This is an excellent opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join the senior management team of a leading manufacturing company in Westmeath. The role reports to the COO and will be responsible for managing the day-to-day company finances, the preparation of monthly management accounts and ensuring internal controls are adhered to within the organisation.
Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Managing the purchases, sales, and nominal ledgers
* Preparation of monthly payroll
* Ensuring the company is tax compliant and all returns are submitted accurately and on
time
* Managing the accounts team and work closely with senior management to develop the
business
* Improvement of reports from ERP system
* Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs – including financial performance
* Manage the preparation of statutory financial accounts
* Ensure full CSO and CRO compliance
The Successful candidate will be:
* A qualified accountant with relevant industry experience.
* A highly organised individual with exceptional time management and organization skills.
* Able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to
meet deadlines.
* An excellent communicator with strong computer skills.
