Our client an established Hospital wishes to recruit a Director of Nursing to join their team.
* Have at least 10 years recent relevant post-registration nursing experience in an acute hospital setting, with 5 years nursing management experience of which 3 years were at a senior nursing management level in an acute setting
* Must be registered with the NMBI & have full work permits
* Must be working in a Hospital at the moment here in Ireland or similar
* Communication skills
* Organisational & interpersonal skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Leadership and management skills
* Degree holder preferable to Master Level or willingness to work towards
* Possess strong leadership qualities, human resources management skills and good interpersonal skills
* Proven clinical ability, risk management, clinical audit, and excellent communication skills.
* Competent in the use of information technology.
* Demonstrate ability to manage, motivate and develop staff to maximize performance at work.
* Demonstrate the ability to foster a learning culture amongst staff and colleagues
