Consultant Psychiatrist – Teaching Hospital – Munster

A Teaching Hospital in the Munster region is looking to hire a Consultant Psychiatrist with a specialty in Adult and Later Life Psychiatry.

Essential Criteria:

* Full registration in the General Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland or entitlement to be so registered.
* Possession of the MRCPsych or equivalent thereto.
* Registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners, maintained by the Medical Council of Ireland in the specialty of Adult and Psychiatry of Later Life.
* Seven years satisfactory postgraduate training and experience in the medical profession including five years in psychiatry of which three years were in adult and later life psychiatry.
* A satisfactory knowledge of the administration of psychiatric services.
* Possess a high standard of professional attainment and the requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the post.
