We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consultant Haematologist to join our dynamic and progressive multidisciplinary team at a major HSE University Hospital in Ireland. The Role
The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in the provision of comprehensive haematology services, including:
Management of both benign and malignant haematological disorders
Participation in diagnostic, laboratory, and clinical haematology services
Contribution to multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings
Involvement in teaching, training, and supervision of junior doctors and medical students
Engagement in clinical governance, audit, and research activities

Applicants must have:
Registration (or eligibility) on the Specialist Division of the Medical Council of Ireland in Haematology
Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (or equivalent)
Significant experience in clinical and laboratory haematology
Proven ability in leadership, service development, and teamwork
Commitment to teaching, audit, and research
Desirable
Subspecialty interest (e.g. haemato-oncology, coagulation, transfusion medicine)
Experience in a tertiary or university hospital setting
