Assistant Pharmacist

On behalf of our client, a well-established pharmacy in County Meath, Ireland, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Pharmacist to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of exceptional pharmaceutical care within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

– Assist the pharmacist in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
– Provide advice and information to patients on the proper use of prescriptions and over-the-counter medications.
– Ensure the safe and secure storage of medications in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
– Maintain accurate records and manage inventory, including stock ordering and expiry monitoring.
– Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Support the pharmacist in handling administrative tasks, such as processing prescriptions and liaising with healthcare providers.

Requirements:

– A qualification in Pharmacy Technician or related field (desired but not essential).
– Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is an advantage.
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
– A proactive attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
