Do you fit the profile:
Qualified Nurse with a minimum of 3 years of Management experience in care of the older person (within the last 6 years).
Post-registration management qualification in health or a related field.
A proven track record in healthcare clinical management.
Exceptional Leadership, Organisational, and Communication skills.
Decisive, results-driven mindset with the ability to foster a collaborative team environment.
Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of a premium healthcare provider.
Responsibilities:
Audit & Excellence: Conduct rigorous internal audits and drive continuous improvement based on findings.
Staff Development: Lead the initial induction and spearhead ongoing professional training for the care team.
Innovation: Champion innovative practices to enhance resident quality of life.
Compliance: Ensure seamless implementation and adherence to both Company and HIQA standards.
Leadership: Facilitate regular communication meetings with clinical staff to ensure alignment and morale.
Community Integration: Build strong rapport with external agencies, integrating the Home into the vibrant Waterford community.
Brand Ambassadorship: Liaise with Marketing to maintain a high local profile and community presence.
Safety & Environment: Implement Health & Safety policies and fire evacuation plans; ensure the Home’s hygiene and maintenance are world-class.
Recruitment: Lead the selection, interviewing, and training needs analysis for new talent.
Clinical Governance: Ensure all clinical practices exceed national Regulations & Standards.
