As a Consultant Dermatologist, you will play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality dermatology services across both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to clinical excellence, innovation, and patient-centred care.
🩺 Key Responsibilities
Provide expert diagnosis and management of a wide range of dermatological conditions
Lead and develop dermatology services within the hospital
Supervise and support junior medical staff and trainees
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical governance
Contribute to service development, audit, and research initiatives
🎯 Essential Requirements
Specialist registration (or eligibility) with the Irish Medical Council in Dermatology
Significant experience at Consultant level (or equivalent)
Strong clinical, leadership, and organisational skills
Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
