Great opportunity for a Director of Nursing to step into Regional Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Manager to oversee and manage multiple nursing homes in the West of Ireland.

The Regional Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance across all facilities under their supervision. This role requires strong leadership, healthcare management expertise, and a deep understanding of the Irish healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

* Provide strong leadership and support to Nursing Home Managers and their teams.
* Foster a positive working environment that promotes teamwork and professional development.
* Set clear expectations and objectives for each facility and monitor their performance.

Quality of Care:

* Ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
* Implement best practices and policies to improve patient care and resident satisfaction.
* Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor care quality and identify areas for improvement.
Operational Management:
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple nursing homes, including financial management, resource allocation, and cost control.
* Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize efficiency and resource utilization.
* Ensure proper staff scheduling, recruitment, and training.
Regulatory Compliance:
* Stay up-to-date with Irish healthcare regulations and ensure all facilities comply with them.
* Prepare for and manage inspections from relevant regulatory bodies.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
Budget and Financial Management:
* Develop and manage the budget for each facility, ensuring financial sustainability and efficiency.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage expenses effectively.
* Analyse financial reports and make data-driven decisions.
Stakeholder Communication:
* Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and stakeholders to address concerns and provide updates.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals, vendors, and community partners.
* Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner.
Qualifications:
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in healthcare management, nursing, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a senior management role within the healthcare sector, preferably in nursing home management. In-depth knowledge of Irish healthcare regulations and standards. – Strong leadership and team management skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Financial acumen and budget management experience.
* Demonstrated ability to drive quality improvements and ensure compliance.
* A passion for providing high-quality care to elderly residents.
