Reporting to: Managing Director/CEO

An excellent JCI accredited hospital & healthcare group are expanding and hiring a Project Manager – role can be based remotely but involves visits to sites in Ireland.

Function:

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing and completing projects within defined timelines and budget constraints. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure that the desired outcomes are achieved while maintaining project scope, budget, and quality standards. The Project Manager’s expertise in project management (Esp. Theatre builds), healthcare operations, and stakeholder engagement will be critical in ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Monitor and control project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful project completion.
Identify potential project risks and devise mitigation strategies to minimise their impact.
Maintain project documentation, including status reports, project plans, and meeting minutes.
Ensure that cross-functional teams work together effectively to achieve project objectives.
Manage project communication and stakeholder engagement to appropriately set and manage expectations.
Facilitate collaboration among team members and lead project meetings.
Ensure that project deliverables meet high quality standards and adhere to a ‘right first time’ philosophy.
Oversee the day-to-day internal finishes on site.
Manage the workflow of sub-contractors to align with the program of works on site.
Uphold the highest level of health and safety at all times.
Ensure regulatory and accreditation requirements, including JCI and other relevant standards, are met.
Implement and maintain project management best practices and standards.
Perform any other duties as necessary.

Qualifications & Experience:

A primary degree in a relevant field
PM2, Prince2, PMBOK or Agile certification
Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management in a healthcare environment
Proven experience leading projects (Esp. Theatre builds) from initiation to successful completion
Full clean driving licence as travel will be required

Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Strong leadership and project management skills
Good at working with people at all levels and willing to work in a team.
Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative.
Able to co-ordinate a number of different projects at the same time
Experience with project management software and tools
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
