Based in Dublin we are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing & Operations Manager with experience in manufacturing and distribution. This will be a hands-on role in a growing Irish owned company.
As Operations Manager your responsibilities will include:
Drive a positive work culture with a focus on continuous improvement, encouraging cross-functional collaboration to drive business effectiveness.
Health and Safety – Establish, follow, and enforce safety standards and procedures in compliance with legal requirements.
Supplier and stock management – pricing, ordering logistics fault resolution and reordering levels.
Develop warehouse design by planning layout, product flow and product handling systems.
Develop warehouse operations systems by analysing process workflow and implementing changes. Working closely
Lead project to onboard new warehouse management system.
Assesses the effectiveness and efficiency of the roles in your department by developing the team by providing training (on and off the job), coaching and opportunities for further growth.
Assessing and improving customer satisfaction and service delivery process and overseeing daily routes and improve route plans to ensure timely deliveries.
Hold daily/weekly departmental meetings and maintain overtime standards and ensure that company guidelines for overtime are enforced.
Contribute to creating and recommending strategic plans and reviews to achieve operational goals.
Key Skills:
Strong knowledge of operational management
Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems
Proficient in scheduling and report creation
A natural customer centric person
Skilled in analysing information
Ability to multitask in a team and alone.
Systematic with a focus on process improvement and change management.
Proven people management skills that can help drive performance.
Detail and deadline orientated.
Minimum of 8 years previous Senior Operations/warehouse operations experience with experience in project management and lean management a preference.
